King ("On The horizon"), Roy Hamilton ("Lips"), Ruth Brown ("Lucky lips"), Johnny Mathis ("An open fire") and even Muhammad Ali ("Stand by me") are honored along with other artists with their versions of Leiber and Stoller songs. Compiled, of course, with the personal assistance of the duo, who also contributed the lavishly illustrated, insider liner notes.
