A brand new live recording from the 2013 Montreux Festival. ZZ Top have been touring with an unchanged line-up since their formation in 1969. Featuring all the hits of their career and of course the best of their current studio album "La Futura". With the original line-up unchanged since 1969 and with worldwide sales of more than 50 million records, ZZ Top continues to delight their fans around the world with great shows and great music. The band has played Montreux several times during their long career, but the 2013 concert is one of their best performances at the legendary festival, featuring songs like "La Grange", "Gimme All Your Lovin'", "Pincushion", "Sharp Dressed Man", "Waitin' For The Bus", "Legs", "Tube Snake Boogie", "Tush" and many other classics. The setlist mixes songs from the early seventies from albums like "Tres Hombres" and "Fandango", through the hits of the eighties with tracks like "Eliminator" and "Afterburner" to tracks from the current album "La Futura" and the associated return to blues roots. The middle section of the concert will feature a tribute to Claude Nobs, founder of the Montreux Festival, with Mike Flanigin on Hammond organ and Van Wilks on guitar. ZZ Top, the "little band from Texas," plays the blues as strong as ever. Bonus material includes interviews with guitarist Billy Gibbons and bassist Dusty Hill.
