Abomination

Abomination is a thrash metal band that was formed in Chicago, Illinois, in the late 1980s. The band was created by Paul Speckmann, who is also known for his work with the influential death metal band Master. Abomination's self-titled debut album "Abomination" was released in 1990 and showcased a raw, aggressive thrash metal sound that was prevalent during that era. The band's music often dealt with themes of war, corruption, and the darker aspects of human nature, reflecting the intensity of their sound. Despite never achieving mainstream success, Abomination gained a following within the underground metal community.
