Back Door Slam was a blues-rock band from the Isle of Man that gained popularity in the mid-2000s. The band consisted of Davy Knowles on vocals and guitar, Adam Jones on bass, and Ross Doyle on drums. They were known for their dynamic live performances and their revival of classic blues-rock sounds with a modern twist. The group released their debut album "Roll Away" in 2007, which showcased their talent and earned them critical acclaim within the blues and rock communities. Following the success of their first album, they continued to tour extensively, building a strong fan base with their energetic shows. In 2009, they released "Coming Up For Air," which further solidified their reputation as a powerful musical force. However, not long after this release, the band disbanded, with Davy Knowles pursuing a solo career.
