Circus Devils was an American experimental rock band that was formed in 2001 by Robert Pollard, the prolific frontman of the indie rock group Guided by Voices. The band also included Todd Tobias and Tim Tobias. Circus Devils was known for its eclectic and avant-garde approach to rock music, often incorporating elements of psychedelia, punk, and noise into their work. Their sound was characterized by lo-fi production, unconventional song structures, and a wide range of sonic textures. Throughout their career, they released a substantial number of albums, showcasing a willingness to experiment and defy genre conventions. The band remained active until 2017 when they decided to disband after releasing their final album "Laughs Last."
