Cutting Crew is a British rock band formed in 1985, best known for their hit single "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" from their debut album "Broadcast" released in 1986. The band was founded by vocalist Nick Van Eede and Canadian guitarist Kevin MacMichael. They achieved considerable success during the late 1980s, with their blend of rock and pop resonating with audiences internationally. Following their initial success, Cutting Crew released several more albums, although none matched the commercial impact of their debut. Despite changes in the lineup and periods of inactivity, Cutting Crew continued to record and perform. Kevin MacMichael passed away in 2002, but Nick Van Eede has kept the band's legacy alive by touring and releasing new music under the Cutting Crew name. The albums "Compus Mentus," "The Best Of," and "Add To Favourites" are part of their discography, showcasing the band's journey through different phases of their career.
