Danny Elfman is a prolific American composer, singer, and songwriter, renowned for his distinctive scores for film and television. He first gained prominence as the frontman of the new wave band Oingo Boingo in the 1980s. However, it was his collaboration with director Tim Burton that catapulted him to fame as a film composer. Elfman has crafted the scores for a majority of Burton's films, including iconic works such as "Edward Scissorhands," "Beetlejuice," and "Batman." His work on "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" not only involved composing the score but also voicing the main character, Jack Skellington, for the singing parts.
