Australian surf rock duo

Hockey Dad is an Australian surf rock band from Wollongong, New South Wales, formed in 2013. The duo consists of childhood friends Zach Stephenson on vocals and guitar, and Billy Fleming on drums. They gained popularity with their energetic live shows and a sound that blends elements of garage rock, punk, and surf music. Hockey Dad released their debut album "Boronia" in 2016, which was followed by "Blend Inn" in 2018. Their third album, "Brain Candy," came out in 2020. Over the years, they have built a strong following both in Australia and internationally, touring extensively and performing at various music festivals around the world. The band's name is a reference to a joke between the members and their love of ice hockey video games.
