Jimmy Barnes is a Scottish-born Australian rock singer and songwriter. His career both as a solo artist and as the lead vocalist with the rock band Cold Chisel has made him one of the most popular and best-selling Australian music artists of all time. Barnes is known for his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence. After Cold Chisel disbanded in the early 1980s, he embarked on a successful solo career, releasing numerous albums that have achieved significant commercial success. His solo records have explored various musical genres, including soul and hard rock, showcasing his versatility as an artist. Throughout his career, Barnes has garnered many accolades and has been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame twice; once as a solo artist and once as a member of Cold Chisel.
