Johann Wilhelm Wilms (1772–1847) was a German-Dutch composer, pianist, and teacher who made significant contributions to the musical world during the late Classical and early Romantic periods. Born in Witzhelden, Germany, Wilms moved to the Netherlands in his early twenties and became an influential figure in the Dutch musical scene. His compositional output includes symphonies, chamber music, piano concertos, and works for solo piano.
