John Kitchen is a distinguished British organist, harpsichordist, and musicologist known for his extensive work in the field of historic keyboard music. He serves as the University Organist and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, where he teaches music and performs regularly. Kitchen is also the City Organist of Edinburgh, playing on the famous Usher Hall organ. His repertoire spans a wide range of musical periods and styles, from early music to contemporary compositions.
