Kenneth Cooper

American harpsichordist, pianist, conductor, musicologist, and pedagogue. He is currently the Music Director for the Kershire Bach Ensemble. Kenneth has performed at the Grand Canyon, Washington Square, Norfolk, and Little Orchestra Society’s Vivaldi festivals. Most recently, he has appeared at Music@Menlo, Aspen, Marlboro, Chamber Music Northwest, and Chamber Music Society of the Lincoln Center. He has made numerous recordings for CBS-Sony, Vanguard, EMI, Bridge, and other labels, collaborating with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Susan Rotholz, and Annie Kavafian. He is on the faculty of Columbia University and the Manhattan School of Music, where he is Chair of the Harpsichord Department and Director of the Baroque Aria Ensemble.
