Luke Hemmings is best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS). Born on July 16, 1996, in Sydney, Australia, Hemmings began his music career by posting covers of popular songs on YouTube. His talent quickly caught attention, and he formed 5 Seconds of Summer with bandmates Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin in 2011. The band rose to international fame with their debut single "She Looks So Perfect" in 2014. Their self-titled debut album topped the charts in multiple countries and was followed by successful releases such as "Sounds Good Feels Good" (2015) and "Youngblood" (2018), which further cemented their status in the pop rock scene.
