Renowned French-German Violinist

Michel Schwalbé (1919–2012) was a distinguished Polish-born violinist who served as the concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra for many years. Born in Warsaw, Schwalbé began his musical education early and went on to study at the Warsaw Conservatory and later in Paris. His career was interrupted by World War II, but after the war, he resumed his musical activities and quickly established himself as a leading violinist.
