Pride & Glory was a side project that marked the first solo venture of guitarist and vocalist Zakk Wylde, who is best known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and as the founder of Black Label Society. Formed in 1991, Pride & Glory was a band that blended southern rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, showcasing Wylde's signature guitar playing style and vocal abilities. The band released their self-titled debut album "Pride & Glory" in 1994, which featured tracks such as "Horse Called War," "Losin' Your Mind," and "Found a Friend." The group's sound was characterized by its use of heavy guitar riffs, bluesy undertones, and country influences. Despite the positive reception from fans of Wylde's work, Pride & Glory was short-lived; the band disbanded after their debut album as Wylde moved on to other projects. The "Pride & Glory" album remains a cult favorite among fans of Zakk Wylde's career.
