Septic Tank is a hardcore punk/crossover thrash band that features members from the well-known doom metal band Cathedral, including frontman Lee Dorrian. The group is known for its aggressive style, which is a departure from the slower, heavier sound of Cathedral. Septic Tank's music harks back to the raw energy and socio-political themes typical of early hardcore punk. They released their debut album "Rotting Civilisation" in April 2018, which showcases their fast-paced and riff-heavy approach to the genre.
