South Korean K-pop boy group

Seventeen, often stylized as SEVENTEEN, is a South Korean boy band formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2015. The group is known for its large number of members, which originally totaled seventeen during its pre-debut days but debuted with thirteen: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. They are divided into three sub-units, each with a different area of specialization: a 'Hip-Hop Unit', 'Vocal Unit', and 'Performance Unit'. Seventeen is recognized for their unique self-producing ability as they are actively involved in the composition and production of their music and choreography, earning them the nickname "self-producing" idols.
