British Invasion Pop-Rock Band

The Dave Clark Five, often referred to as the DC5, was a prominent British pop rock group that formed in the late 1950s and rose to fame in the 1960s. They were part of the British Invasion, a wave of UK bands that achieved widespread popularity in the United States following the success of The Beatles. The band was led by drummer and manager Dave Clark and included members Mike Smith (vocals and keyboards), Lenny Davidson (guitar), Rick Huxley (bass), and Denis Payton (saxophone, harmonica, and guitar).
