British Alternative Rock Band

The La's are an English rock band from Liverpool, primarily known for their hit single "There She Goes." Formed in 1983, the band was fronted by singer-songwriter Lee Mavers and guitarist John Power. Despite their relatively brief initial period of activity, The La's have had a lasting influence on the Britpop movement of the 1990s. Their self-titled debut album, "The La's," released in 1990, is often hailed as a classic, featuring a blend of jangly guitar pop with a distinctively raw edge that captured the essence of their sound.
