Belgian Electronic Body Music Pioneers

The Neon Judgement was a pioneering Belgian new wave band that emerged in the early 1980s. Formed by Dirk Da Davo (vocals and guitar) and TB Frank (vocals, keyboards, and guitar), the duo became known for their distinctive blend of post-punk, electronic music, and synthpop. Their sound was characterized by its dark, underground edge, which often incorporated elements of industrial music. The Neon Judgement's music was influential in the development of the electronic body music (EBM) genre and they were contemporaries of other bands in the Belgian new wave scene, such as Front 242.
