British Rock Legends

verses was an indie-pop/rock band from Offenbach/Germany nearby Frankfurt am Main. Active from 1998 to 2008. In the first years they called their style "multipop" as they couldn't really decide how to sound. The guys knew each other since their childhood or from other music projects. The first EP was "StArt To Live" release as a CDR (like all of their releases). The sound and style ranged from Pop-, Synth-, und Rockmusic combined with each other or simply pure. They used english, german or french lyrics to express their feelings and experience from the past, present and future. It was a charismatic voice combined with catchy tunes. Sometimes hard guitar-riffs, soft strings, cheerful piano-arrangements with driving drums and innovative synthesizerloops. Line-Up: Andreas Zahn (Bass) Christoph Maier (Keyboards, Synthesizer) Dominik Messmer (Guitars, Backing Vocals) Martin Nubert (Drums 2005-2008) Philipp Donnevert (Vocals, Keyboards) Former members: Daniel Maier (Drums 1998-2005) Christine Jakoby (Vocals, Backing Vocals 1998-2000) They always insisited that the bandname was written with a small capital letter.
