British Progressive Rock Duo

Wetton/Downes is a collaboration between two prominent figures in the world of progressive rock and AOR (Album-Oriented Rock): John Wetton and Geoff Downes. John Wetton was an English singer, bassist, and songwriter who gained fame as the frontman of the rock group Asia, which he co-founded with Geoff Downes in 1981. Prior to Asia, Wetton played with several notable bands including King Crimson, Roxy Music, and Uriah Heep. Geoff Downes is an English musician, songwriter, and record producer who is best known as the keyboardist for Asia and The Buggles. Downes also had a stint with the progressive rock band Yes.
