Born Terence Nelhams-Wright on June 23, 1940, in Acton, London, he was one of the significant British teen idols and chart-toppers of his time. Faith's career in music began with his debut hit "What Do You Want?" in 1959, which was the first of a series of chart successes produced by John Barry.
