Energy 52 was a trance music project from Germany, best known for their 1993 hit single "Café del Mar." The project was formed by Paul M. and Harald Blüchel, the latter of whom is also known by his stage name Cosmic Baby. The track "Café del Mar" became one of the most iconic trance tunes of the 1990s and has been remixed numerous times by various artists over the years. It was named after the famous bar located in Ibiza, which is well-known for its chill-out music compilations. The success of this single overshadowed the rest of Energy 52's career, and they are often considered a one-hit-wonder within the electronic music scene. Despite this, "Café del Mar" remains a seminal track in the genre and continues to be celebrated in clubs around the world.
