St. Vincent is the stage name of Annie Clark, an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer known for her distinctive style that blends soft rock, experimental rock, electropop, and jazz influences. She began her music career as a member of The Polyphonic Spree and was also part of Sufjan Stevens' touring band before embarking on a solo career. St. Vincent released her debut album, "Marry Me," in 2007 to critical acclaim. Her subsequent albums, including "Actor" (2009), "Strange Mercy" (2011), and the self-titled "St. Vincent" (2014), have continued to garner praise for their innovative sound and compelling lyrics.
