The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are an American ska punk band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1983. They are often credited as one of the progenitors of the ska punk genre, blending elements of punk rock, traditional ska, and a bit of hardcore into their sound. The band is known for their energetic live performances, sharp-dressed appearance, and the distinctive raspy voice of lead singer Dicky Barrett. Over the course of their career, they have released numerous albums and are perhaps best known for their 1997 hit single "The Impression That I Get," which helped them break into the mainstream.
