True Love Ways is a new album released in honor of the 60th anniversary of Buddy's last recordings. Buddy's voice is backed by an orchestra, just as his older brother Larry thinks he would have wanted.Buddy Holly tragically died at the age of 22 in a plane crash, leaving behind his wife of only a year. The day he died has gone down in history as the Day the Music Died.On October 22, Buddy recorded his last song, True Love Ways, in the studio, which he dedicated to his wife. Buddy played violin and had begun experimenting with string orchestration just before his death. Years later, under the baton of Buddy's older brother and his wife, True Love Ways was released with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
