And yet the extraordinary singer can't get enough - especially not of metal! For his new solo album For The Love Of Metal, he has teamed up with Napalm Records and brought on board renowned greats: The album was produced by Hatebreed shouter Jamey Jasta and studio guests included Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage), Mark Morton (Lamb Of God), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Joel Grind and Nick Bellmore (Toxic Holocaust) and Charlie Bellmore (Kingdom Of Sorrow). Snider says of For The Love Of Metal: "It's a really exciting album! I never thought I'd make a record like this - especially at this time in my life. Jamey Jasta challenged me to make a contemporary rock/metal record, and I accepted the challenge." The result is metal through and through, full of anthemic songwriting that goes back and forth between modern heavy metal and early Twisted Sister days.
