The focus is on two improvised concerts from 1981 in Austria and Germany, recorded in the Festspielhaus in Bregenz and Herkulessaal, concert halls with excellent acoustics. While the Bregenz concert was previously available on a single CD, the complete Munich performance is now available on CD for the first time in this set. The 3-CD box set includes an extensive text booklet with notes by Keith Jarrett, an essay by Swiss critic Peter Rüedi and poetry by Michael Krüger.
