The album "Ladies Of The Road" was originally released in 2003 for a limited time and documents the complete picture of the band's live shows. CD 1 contains a series of live recordings from the first Zoom Club concerts in Germany in 1971 to the end of the American "Earthbound" tour almost a year later. Material from all four studio albums released to date is featured (although strangely enough the track "Island", which gave the album its title, does not appear on the album). The fascination with Ladies Of The Road is that tracks like "Circus", "Pictures Of A City" and "In The Court Of Rhe Crimson King" are played by a completely different line-up than on the studio recordings. CD2 is a 2002 compilation of Mel and Robert's improvisations on the theme "21st Century Schizoid Man".
