One of the latest discoveries that will soon be shuffling the top of the world's charts comes from New Zealand...

We're talking about 16-year-old Ella Yelich-O'Connor, who is entering the music industry under the stage name Lorde. The 16-year-old started playing music at the age of 13 when, as a great lover of books, she began writing her first poems and lyrics. But she had to wait three years for her first success. Her debut single, "Royals", topped the charts back home in New Zealand in the spring and won her a platinum award...

A couple of weeks ago, the aforementioned single moved into the US charts and now it's finally Europe's turn! The interest in Lorde is really high, which is certainly helped by the extraordinary music video for the mentioned song, which is already approaching seven million views. Not to mention the fact that Lorde, both with her rich voice and her beautiful femininity, certainly doesn't look sixteen years old...

The album has also already been released in the US and immediately went to number 1. and became the youngest solo artist to reach number one since 1987!
