This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours is the fourth studio album by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers.It was released on 14 September 1998 on the Epic record label. The album was written by the band's lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey Edwards and guitarist James Dean Bradfield, and produced by Mike Hedges. Musically, the album departs from the band's earlier guitar sound and features string arrangements, brass and gospel choirs. Thematically, the album deals with Edwards' struggle with mental illness, political and social disillusionment, and the death of his friend and bandmate, guitarist and songwriter Richey Edwards.
