The best is back: at the end of 2018, Mumford & Sons finally return from the studio with a new album. "Delta" is the title of the British folk-rockers' fourth album, the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2015's "Wilder Mind" and 2016's "Johannesburg" EP. The four-man band recorded "Delta" at London's Church Studios. They were supported behind the mixing desk by producer Paul Epworth, who has worked for artists such as Adele, Florence & The Machine and Bloc Party. Mumford & Sons have already given a first impression of the record with the first single "Guiding Light". And it's clear that on the new album they are going back to their beginnings and their "old" instruments a bit. And so "Delta" combines the electronic sounds of its predecessor and the typical handmade folk sound of their beginnings with acoustic guitar and banjo, while content-wise it reflects the band's shared experiences. In addition to the standard CD, "Delta" is also available on a double-LP and a limited edition sand-colored double-LP. This is not a best of, but a combination of their best musical qualities: 'Delta' by Mumford & Sons is the work of a well-rehearsed band brimming with creativity.
