I Hear Black is the fifth studio album by thrash metal band Overkill , released on October 12, 1993 by Atlantic Records. The album was produced by Alex Perialas, who also produced the band's previous album Horrorscope. I Hear Black was the band's first album to feature bassist D.D. Verni and drummer Sid Falck, who joined the band in 1992. The album marked a change in the band's sound, which became more groove-oriented.
