Completely remastered Phil Collins album "No Jacket Required" As part of the extensive reissue series "Take A Look At Me Now", Phil Collins' third studio album "No Jacket Required" was re-released in 2016. Collins' seventh solo album "Testify" was released at the same time. "No Jacket Required" was released in early 1985 and, along with "...But Seriously", remains one of the singer's most successful albums to date. It has topped the sales charts in several countries, including the UK, USA, Canada, Germany and Sweden. In the US, it has also reached the top 10 of the charts a total of four times. Another special feature is that Collins makes a guest appearance on the album with two well-known musicians: Sting and Peter Gabriel. Just weeks before the re-release, the singer re-released his solo debut "Face Value" and his fifth solo album "Both Sides". Studio albums number two and six followed with "Hello, I Must Be Going!" and "Dance Into The Light". In addition to "No Jacket Required", seven more LPs of songs from Collins' repertoire have been or will be reissued. For the reissue, he had all eight albums completely remastered and expanded with additional tracks. Above all, however, Collins has added live versions to make the separate development of the songs understandable. He chose the songs himself. In addition to the albums and live tracks, the deluxe edition also contains rare demo recordings and B-sides. These include a demo of "One More Night" and live versions of "Easy Lover" and "Sussudio" on the "No Jacket Required" album. In remastering, Phil Collins received support from an old friend. Nick Davis has already produced many works by Genesis and its members. Most recently he worked on the box set "Genesis 1970-1975". Another interesting feature of the series: all albums have been given new covers. Because of this, Phil Collins had himself re-photographed in exactly the same poses as he can be seen in on the original covers. "No Jacket Required" will be released as a double CD and LP. An exclusive collector's box is also available with "Take A Look At Me Now", which already includes the albums "Face Value" and "Both Sides" and offers room for more releases in the series.
