Tom Odell takes the next step Only three years after his gigantic debut, singer-songwriter Tom Odell presents his new album "Wrong Crowd" in 2016. The further musical development of the singer and pianist cannot be overlooked. You could say that the 26-year-old Brit has grown up since then. While "Long Way Down" focused mainly on piano and vocals, "Wrong Crowd" now features much more elaborate arrangements. Thus, Odell's own desires for a new album have come true: The melodies have become bigger and the songs even more dramatic. Another gentleman was not entirely uninvolved: Jim Abbiss sat behind the mixing desk during the recording of "Wrong Crowd". The producer has worked with stars like Adele, Birdy, Emeli Sandé, The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys and Lush. The singer has already previewed what the new Tom Odell sounds like with the release of the title track and single "Magnatised". In total, there are nine other songs on "Wrong Crowd". Tom Odell already broke through with his first album. With the song "Wrong Crowd" he took the next logical step on his way to becoming a megastar.
