The album will be released on 14 September. Diana and Tony, who is celebrating his 92nd birthday, have been friends for over twenty years. They have toured together and collaborated on several duets for Bennet's albums. Love Is Here To Stay, however, is their first venture together. Recorded with the Grammy-winning Bill Charlap Trio, the result is a delicate, sophisticated and beautiful love letter to the music of the Gershwins, complete with masterful vocals, phrasing and compositional and lyrical genius.Love Is Here To Stay was produced by Dan Bennet and Bill Charlap. The album is available on CD, vinyl, digital and streaming platforms.Few in music history have achieved such fame as Tony Bennett. He has sold over ten million records in the last ten years alone and is currently the only artist to reach number one on the Billboard Top 200 between the ages of 85 and 88. In a career spanning several decades, he has contributed many songs that have been included in the Great American Songbook canon. He has been awarded nineteen Grammys and has won a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, among other awards.
