The Firm

British rock supergroup

The Firm was a British rock supergroup formed in 1984, featuring guitarist Jimmy Page, formerly of Led Zeppelin; singer Paul Rodgers, formerly of Free and Bad Company; bassist Tony Franklin; and drummer Chris Slade. Despite the high-profile nature of its members' previous bands, The Firm aimed to create a distinct sound separate from its members' past work. They released two studio albums: "The Firm" (1985) and "Mean Business" (1986). The band's music was characterized by a melding of both Page's guitar work and Rodgers' soulful vocals. Although The Firm did not achieve the same level of success as the members' previous groups, they did enjoy a brief period of popularity in the mid-1980s, with singles like "Radioactive" and "Satisfaction Guaranteed." The group disbanded after just a few years together, with their last concert taking place in 1986.
