Viktor Vaughn is one of the many alter egos of Daniel Dumile, a British-American rapper better known by his stage name MF DOOM. Under the Viktor Vaughn moniker, Dumile released the album "Vaudeville Villain" in 2003. This persona allowed him to explore different aspects of his lyrical and musical style, often characterized by a more raw and gritty sound compared to his work as MF DOOM. The name Viktor Vaughn is derived from Victor Von Doom, the real name of Marvel Comics supervillain Doctor Doom, who serves as an inspiration for much of Dumile's imagery and themes. Throughout his career, Dumile was known for his intricate wordplay, complex rhymes, and unique sample-heavy production style. He became a highly influential figure in underground hip-hop and maintained a cult following until his passing in October 2020, which was publicly announced on December 31, 2020.
