Virgil Howe was an English musician, DJ, and producer, known for his work as a drummer and for being the son of guitarist Steve Howe of the progressive rock band Yes. Born on September 23, 1975, Virgil was involved in various musical projects throughout his career, showcasing his versatility across different genres. He played drums for the rock band Little Barrie and was involved in electronic music as well. Virgil collaborated with his father on several occasions, including the album "Nexus," which was released in 2017. This album featured instrumental tracks co-written by the father-son duo, blending elements of progressive rock with ambient and electronic influences. Tragically, Virgil Howe passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2017, at the age of 41, shortly before he was due to tour with Little Barrie. His death was a significant loss to the music community and left a lasting impact on those who knew him and appreciated his work.
